Box office news about “Madame Web” is now not complete without mentioning another flop from Sony’s Spider-Man universe – “Morbius” with Jared Leto.
Over the entire rental period, the film collected a modest $167.5 million, but it was distinguished not only by dubious earnings, but also by an incomprehensible cameo by Michael Keaton. The actor appears in a post-credits scene as the Vulture, presumably setting the stage for the Sinister Six, a team of supervillains fighting Spider-Man.
At the same time, in a recent interview on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, Keaton said that he himself could not understand what Sony wanted to say with this cameo:
“I have no idea. None, zero. Then they couldn’t even explain it,” Keaton said.
At the same time, Keaton said in an interview that he would not mind repeating the role of Batman. He previously auditioned for the role of Bruce Wayne in Tim Burton’s 1990s trilogy.
“I don’t think about it, but never say never,” he said.
