Amazon sellers will soon be able to create product pages automatically using artificial intelligence. Marketplace is releasing a new generative AI feature that takes information from a seller’s external site and then generates a product page on Amazon with a written description and images.

The goal is to help sellers reduce the time it takes to transfer a product from another website to Amazon.

Amazon’s AI will analyze the site by link to generate product pages.

Amazon warns sellers that if they choose to insert a URL to create a product page, they must own, have the rights to, or have a license to use the content of the link.

The feature will roll out to US retailers in the coming weeks, according to The Verge. Sellers are already using the artificial intelligence tools that Amazon launched. For example, Amazon’s AI product text generation service shows that nearly 80% of users use AI-generated listings with little human editing.

For sellers, Amazon has also released artificial intelligence tools to generate photos and text for product listings. For shoppers, Amazon introduced Rufus, an AI-powered chatbot that answers shoppers’ questions about products, offers similar products, and compares models.
