SpaceX is preparing for the third Starship test flight. The 122nd rocket will launch from SpaceX Starbase in Boca Chica, Texas, at approximately 14:00 Kyiv time on March 14. A 110-minute launch window will then open.
The live broadcast of the launch will be available on the X social network and on the SpaceX website. The broadcast will start 30 minutes before the window.

The first two flights, on April 20 and November 18 last year, were not completed as planned, as the missile exploded over the Gulf of Mexico each time. The FAA’s recently concluded investigation into the second test identified 17 corrective actions SpaceX must take in order to receive its latest launch license, which the FAA issued late Wednesday, Gizmodo reports.
SpaceX outlined several goals for the third test flight, including the successful launch and burn of the Super Heavy launch vehicle (equipped with 33 Raptor engines) and the Starship booster, the opening and closing of the Starship’s payload bay doors, and the first-ever re-ignition of the Raptor into the atmosphere. In addition, SpaceX plans to conduct a complex fuel transfer demonstration, which it is expected to perform under contract with NASA in the future.
SpaceX previously aimed Starship at the Pacific Ocean, but that changed for ITF-3, with the booster now aimed at the Indian Ocean. The entire mission, if successful, should last less than 10 minutes.
