Verkhovna Rada rejects the idea of ​​automatic reservation of conscripts who receive a salary of UAH 35,000 and pay taxes.

People’s deputy from the Servant of the People, member of the profile committee Ihor Kopytin reported this.

Corresponding amendments were rejected by the Council’s Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence.

The discussion took place on March 25. According to Kopytin, there were separate proposals to book people who receive a certain salary and pay taxes, but they were rejected “without even a discussion.”

“The purpose of the draft law is to establish a socially just mobilization. The actual essence of such amendments would be the “war for the poor” principle. And this is unacceptable!”, – stressed the people’s deputy.

Kopytin noted that the committee is conducting a preliminary review.

In the new concept, the mechanisms of mandatory and possible booking for business were spelled out.
