  • select the “Services” and “Exchange of light bulbs” sections;
  • specify the contact phone number and branch of “Ukrposhta” where you want to receive lamps;
  • specify the type and quantity of LED lamps you want to receive.

Detailed instructions – in the video:

All citizens of Ukraine over the age of 18, with a passport and RNOCPP, will be able to get lamps. The exchange is carried out only once, exclusively for working light bulbs. If the order is not picked up within 5 working days, it will be cancelled.

Why should you change the lamps?

With the beginning of massive shelling, Ukraine is experiencing a shortage of electricity. According to Ukrenergo, up to 40% of energy is consumed by households, and one of the main sources of increased load on the power grid is old incandescent lamps, which use 8 times more electricity than modern lamps.

At the end of 2022, the European Commission agreed to finance the purchase of about 30 million LED lamps for Ukraine. Another 5 million lamps will be provided by the French government.

7-10% – this is how electricity consumption will decrease at times of peak load on the Ukrainian power system when mass replacement of old lamps with energy-saving ones. According to estimates, 50 million LED lamps will help save about 1 GWh of electricity — the annual production volume of a nuclear power plant unit.

As of 14:00, the Action is down, probably due to a large influx of users. When trying to submit an application, an error message pops up.
