A class action lawsuit has been filed against the companies, in which they are accused of setting prices for RAM. The manufacturer’s goal was allegedly to raise the cost of DRAM. Plaintiffs insist that the companies listed above, which control nearly 100% of the global RAM market, have nearly doubled prices to boost profits. At the same time, consumers in the United States suffered from the collusion of manufacturers.
Companies, of course, disagree with the allegations. They argue that there was no collusion, and the market situation is the result of fair competition. According to analysts, these three companies actually account for over 90% of the global DRAM market.
