TCL at the Ultra-HD Vision, Eye Color Life press conference showcased its latest advances in displays for TVs and other devices.
One of the new products is the Star Obsidian Screen panel for 8K TVs (7680 × 4320 pixels). The product uses mini-LED (microscopic light-emitting diode array) technology and measures 75 inches diagonally.
Also shown is the 85-inch IGZO (Indium Gallium Zinc Oxide) panel. This display also complies with the 8K format, and the refresh rate reaches 120 Hz.
Demonstrated is a 17-inch roll-up screen that can be rolled into a tube. The panel is designed for use in mobile computers.
Finally, a 10-inch Z1 Dual-Fold Flexible Screen with an aspect ratio of 4: 3 has been announced. It can be used in different modes that simulate a smartphone, tablet and laptop. Product specifications were not disclosed.
Unfortunately, nothing has been announced about when the displays shown will enter the commercial market.
