At Indiegogo, One-Netbook Technology unveiled an Intel Tiger Lake-based handheld console that boasts a high-resolution display never seen before in small handheld gaming devices. The device will be offered in three versions, differing in the processor, and in the options for the amount of internal storage.

The older version Ultimate Edition will receive a Core i7-11864G7 processor and 1 or 2 terabytes of internal memory. This version is priced at $ 1499 on Indiegogo, which is $ 100 less than the expected retail price. The cheaper Pro Edition will be offered with a Core i7-1165G7 processor and storage from 512GB to 2TB. Its price on Indiegogo starts at $ 959, and it will retail for $ 1159. The most affordable version of the Standard Edition will be equipped with a Core i5-1135G7 processor and carry up to 1 TB of internal memory on board. This model starts at $ 819 (retail for $ 1059).

By far one of the biggest differences compared to competing handheld consoles and the previous versions of the consoles that the company has released is an 2560-inch, 1600×8,4-pixel IPS screen. At the same time, however, it is reported that the optimal resolution for running games will be 1280 × 800 dots, which is comparable to the resolution of portable consoles like the Aya Neo or Nintendo Switch.

For the same resolution, the developer also cites his own performance tests, which show a fairly high level of FPS (for example, for Cyberpunk 2077, the declared level of 38-42 FPS for the older model), although it is not specified at what graphics settings these values ​​were obtained.

An interesting feature of the portable console is the ability to connect external graphics accelerators via the Thunderbolt port. Another unique feature is the dedicated Turbo button, which, when using the console with a connected power adapter, allows you to raise the processor’s power consumption (power limit or PL) from the default 20 W (PL1) and 35 W (PL2) to 28 W and 40 watts, respectively.

Other technical specifications of the console include 16 GB of LPDDR4X-4266 memory, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5 wireless communication, two USB 4.0 / Thunderbolt 4 ports with a bandwidth of up to 40 Gbps and the ability to connect an external monitor, a power button with a built-in scanner fingerprint and 15 mAh battery. All versions of the console use NVMe SSD PCI-E 300 M.3.0 2 format as internal storage. The console will be shipped with Windows 2280 preinstalled (OS version not specified).

It is expected that mass production of the console will begin in June this year and the first batch will be shipped to customers in June-July.
