TikTok, a popular short video service, has been revealed to be testing a new tool through which companies will be able to hire employees. The pilot program is designed to help people find jobs and connect with companies that are looking for new employees. It is also envisioned that the new tool will serve as an additional recruiting channel for brands.
According to available data, the service is currently being tested with a limited number of companies. It is also known that the service itself will not be integrated into the TikTok platform. It is a separate web page that can be accessed from the social network application.
Brands will be able to post job listings on this page. Users will see vacancies and, if necessary, will be able to contact the employer to clarify questions. In addition, the service will provide an opportunity to publish a resume in video format. The idea is to give an opportunity for the applicant to creatively tell about himself and his experience in a particular field in a video message. TikTok will also invite users to post resumes in their accounts to create additional advertising for the service.
