The Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation (Mintsifry) published statistics on the work of the State Services portal last year. The platform’s popularity continues to grow steadily.
During 2020, the total number of users registered on the portal increased by 12 million people. Currently, the platform’s audience exceeds 78 million citizens – this is almost two-thirds of the country’s population over 14 years old.
The portal’s daily audience has doubled, reaching 4 million users. At the moments of peak loads, the system processed more than 7 thousand requests per second. The total number of calls to the portal over the past year exceeded 1,5 billion.
«Through a single portal last year, a total of more than 230 million government services and services were received, which is almost 50% more than a year earlier. This is an online appointment with a doctor, registration of various social benefits and benefits, enrollment of a child in school and kindergarten, registration of vehicles and issuance of driver’s licenses, obtaining Russian and foreign passports, registration of a capital, access to the results of PCR tests“, – says the Ministry of Digital Science.
Due to the further growth in demand for the portal, it was necessary to urgently increase its capacity. The expansion of the infrastructure was also required to support new services: last year, 40 new services appeared that can be obtained without the need to personally contact the authorities or the MFC.
It is also noted that in 2020 almost 85 million payments were made through the portal, which is a third more than in 2019. The total amount of transactions exceeded RUB 80 billion.
