It is reported that the last boat of Project 667 BDRM will leave the Navy until 2030, when the ninth and tenth Boreis will arrive there. 667 BDRM is the latest modification of the legendary series.
The fleet now has five such submarines. All of them belong to the Northern Fleet. Three of them are in combat service, one is under repair, the fifth has been converted into a special-purpose submarine, a carrier of deep-sea vehicles.
It should be noted that for the first time the submarines of Project 667 entered the Navy in the mid-60s. Submarines were constantly modernized and received new weapons. In general, on the basis of the 667 project, many ships were created for testing advanced weapons and equipment.
