It is reported that the “MIX” brand was intended for computers, mobile phones, sensors, etc. It follows from the court decision that the trademark including “MIX” is contested, since there is already a trademark registered by Meizu – Meizu MIX.

The main reason for the rejection of the application was that both Xiaomi and Meizu want to use the word “MIX” in similar products. The first company released the Mi MIX smartphone back in October 2016. The Meizu MIX watch was presented two months earlier. How the situation will be resolved is not yet clear.
