EA Play is still a few weeks away, and screenshots of the upcoming trailer for the next Battlefield have already appeared on the web. One of the gamers glued them and the new frames into a single video and got a teaser for the game.
The screenshots in the album are published with the same black stripe across the frame, which probably covers some kind of watermark. The new set of screenshots also gives an idea of the style and name of the shooter – perhaps simply called Battlefield.
There is also a trailer originally posted on TikTok. The trailer is a mixture of fragments from various games (including past Battlefield), technical demos of the Unreal Engine (destruction, storm) and footage from the shooter World War 3. But at the same time, it contained footage that may relate to the next Battlefield. The interface resembles that shown in the original leak, and the location of the team and the map on the left are inherent in the DICE series of shooters. A short clip shows a squad of five players. One of the soldiers reloads a variant of the SA80 (L86) rifle and looks around (which will be new for the Battlefield series).
In the second part of the clip, towards the end, the action unfolds from the point of view of the robot dogs noted in the leak earlier. EDOG273 scans the environment and shuts down immediately.
The next Battlefield will be officially unveiled in July. It will be released on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X / S.
