Leonardo Interactive and Invader Studios have announced Daymare: 1994 Sandcastle, a prequel to their old-school action horror, Daymare: 1998.
Players will play the role of the former government spy and now the agent of the AID (Emergency Research Division) Delilah Reyes, who turns out to be “At the most advanced experimental research center in the United States”.
As part of the Daymare: 1994 story campaign, Sandcastle will offer to reveal the secret, “Buried deep in the most secret places of this world”and “Assemble in parts” the past of some of the characters from Daymare: 1998.
The authors themselves call Daymare: 1994 Sandcastle “A mixture of brutal and deadly enemies, hardcore action, mysteries woven into the game world, a chilling soundtrack, exploration and huge concentrated doses of horror”.
In addition, the developers promise to implement “The most modern and perfect weapon”, including the use of liquid nitrogen “Freezing Grip”, and also send users to “Eerily memorable locations”.
In addition, Daymare: 1994 Sandcastle will offer a redesigned and intuitive interface, “Breathtaking realistic graphics” on Unreal Engine 4 and several difficulty levels.
Daymare: 1994 Sandcastle is expected to be released throughout 2022. The project is announced for PC (the page is already on Steam), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S.
