On the official microblog of the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise, Sega has announced plans to host a special Sonic Central broadcast to celebrate the upcoming 30th anniversary of the original game.

Recall that the 30th anniversary of Sonic the Hedgehog will celebrate in June this year. Earlier Sega promised to mark a significant date “New games, digital content, big announcements”.

As it became known, the broadcast of Sonic Central will begin on May 27 this year at 19:00 Moscow time. It will be possible to follow the progress of the show through the official Sonic channels on YouTube and Twitch.

Sega is known to be developing the next full game in the Sonic the Hedgehog universe. In addition, according to rumors, the publisher is preparing for the release of a remaster of Sonic Colors and a collection of Sonic Collection.

In addition to plans for the upcoming broadcast, Sega has posted a nostalgic video titled Unstoppable, which traces the path of several of the franchise’s young fans.
