Publisher Ubisoft announced Far Cry 6 back in July last year, but after the announcement of the transfer of the game, news about it was extremely rare. In early April, the developers announced that they would soon show “exciting content“. And, apparently, the authors are going to keep their promise, as a teaser for the upcoming gameplay demonstration of the project has appeared on the Web.
The short video contains a cut of images showing the city, newspapers and a portrait of Anton Castillo. The latter is destined for the role of the central villain and dictator in the fictional tropical country of Yar, where the events of the game will unfold. It is Anton who owns the voiceover in the teaser for the upcoming gameplay demonstration.
The antagonist calls the rebels false Jarans and promises to stay with the true Jarans to defend the country. And at the end, Castillo states: “We will make sacrifices in the name of progress and we will revive paradise”.
The live stream, which will show the gameplay of Far Cry 6 for the first time, will take place on May 28. The beginning is at 19:30 Moscow time. How long the event will last is unknown.
Far Cry 6 is announced for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S.
