Last September, the Polish studio The Dust, organized by Techland and CD Projekt RED, who have worked on the Witcher and Dying Light series, announced an adventure I, the Inquisitor based on the books by Jacek Piekara. News about the game did not arrive for a long time, but the developers finally broke the silence – they published the first trailer of their project.
The video shows how the main character, Inquisitor Mordimer Madderdin, kneels before the crucifixion. Then the video shows an inhospitable medieval world – narrow dark streets of the city, a dungeon and a room with various devices. In addition, the trailer contains a snippet where the protagonist is attacked. The battle is not shown, but the combat system in the game, according to The Dust, refers to Batman: Arkham and the first installments of Assassin’s Creed.
Towards the end of the video, the viewers are shown some mystical images and locations. There is probably room for magic in the upcoming project.
Release date and target platforms for I, the Inquisitor have yet to be announced.
