Microsoft promises that if the deal to buy Activision Blizzard is successfully completed, it will release Call of Duty games for Nintendo consoles and make them available on such consoles for 10 years. This was reported by Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer on Twitter.
“Microsoft is committed to helping bring more games to more people – no matter where they prefer to play,” added Phil Spencer.

Earlier in an interview, he said that the company intends to treat Call of Duty like Minecraft, which is available on different platforms, and that he “would like to see [игру]» on Switch. The 10-year commitment potentially means that Call of Duty games will also be released for Switch console successors.
In addition, Spencer said that Microsoft will continue to offer Call of Duty on Steam after the deal closes. These statements may be an attempt to appease the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and sway regulators to their side. The FTC is expected to discuss the Activision Blizzard acquisition in a closed-door hearing Thursday, where the agency will decide whether to take steps to block the deal.
