Windows has many processes running in the background. These processes control various parts of the operating system, such as Explorer, Notification Center, Settings, Applications, and even the Desktop. As a result, many processes are automatically started at startup.
While system processes are harmless, others can cause problems. A third-party process can slow down work, freeze the system, cause applications to work incorrectly. When the task is not responding, you need to open the Task Manager, define the task name and end the process.
In Windows 11 Build 25300, Microsoft will allow you to end processes directly from the taskbar. To do this, in Windows 11, it will be possible to right-click on the icon of any program and quickly end the process by selecting the new option “End task”. The button invokes the same action that is currently available through Task Manager – it’s just a more convenient shortcut.
Windows 11 Build 25300 includes other updates. The build improves the Live Captions feature and adds support for several new languages, including Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish, and more. Microsoft is testing various window layout options and the presence of descriptions in those already fixed in one or another part of the screen.
The company is also experimenting with shortening the hover time to call up a popup window. The presence of certain innovations means that they must be included in the final public update of the OS.
