Today, PC Game Pass officially became available to all players from Ukraine, Sakartvelo and 38 other countries of the world — Microsoft announced a large-scale expansion of the geography of the game service in a separate press release, and the leader of Xbox Phil Spencer even recorded a video message against the background of the famous shelves on this occasion.
The official launch was preceded by beta testing, which lasted a little more than a month – the preview version of PC Game Pass opened on March 28 (previous news about it). Today, Microsoft has made everything as simple as possible for Ukrainians and citizens of other countries where the service has started — there is no longer any need to bother with registration in the Insider testing program, submit applications and wait until access is opened. Now, if desired, players can purchase a Game Pass subscription directly in the app or on the official Xbox website. A subscription gives you access to a library of hundreds of PC games for Windows, including new day one releases from Xbox Game Studios and popular Bethesda titles. It also includes EA Play membership and Riot Games benefits (members only).
In honor of the launch, Microsoft is offering PC Game Pass at a special promotional price of 26.99₴ for the first three months. The usual cost of PC Game Pass overpayments for Ukraine is 190₴/month. Yes, more expensive than in Argentina, but cheaper than in Europe – 10 euros per month. And do I need to remind you that after the end of a kind of trial version, the subscription is renewed and the linked bank card is automatically debited for the full cost, if it is not canceled. So, if you don’t plan to pay for PC Game Pass in the future, don’t forget to set a reminder to cancel your subscription in time.
The total number of countries that have PC Game Pass (including the new expansion) has reached 86.

The expected official launch of Xbox Live and Game Pass services on Xbox consoles in Ukraine will be the next logical step. And judging by the appearance of the Ukrainian region on the official Xbox website, we don’t have long to wait.
