While Stranger Things Season 5 star Linda Hamilton is gearing up for a trip to Hawkins, Indiana, she won’t be watching the final season, even though she’s a fan of the 80s-style Netflix series.
The actress shared that while she has “enjoyed” every season of the series, participating in the final season will “ruin” the experience of watching it.
When you buy something, you don’t see yourself in it. So I think that ruined the show for me. I never look [проект]if I already participate in it. It would completely take me out of reality if I saw myself there. So I won’t watch [5-й сезон]”.

The actress is one of the few to join the popular sci-fi series for its final season. Her role, however, is being kept a secret from viewers — even showrunners Ross and Matt Duffer only gave Hamilton “the shape of the character, but not the story,” reports Estrada.
Hamilton noted that she is having a great time on the series, which began filming on January 8. The official Stranger Things Instagram posted a photo of the entire cast from the first day of filming.
While production on the season is already well underway, there’s no word yet on when the finale will air on Netflix. With strikes in Hollywood halting much film and TV production, it’s unlikely that Season 5 will debut before 2025.
