Netflix released the first official trailer for the film “Stormy Moon. Part 2: The One That Leaves Scars” directed by Zack Snyder. The film will be released on April 19.
The trailer, which lasts about two and a half minutes, opens with a dramatic action scene where the music sets the rhythm of the fight and the whole scene feels like a video game. We also see Djimon Hounsou’s character delivering a fiery speech, Anthony Hopkins’ robot character Jimmy slashing enemies, and some intense melee combat.
“Rebel Moon. Part 2: The One That Leaves Scars” continues the epic story of Cora and other warriors who are ready to sacrifice everything in the fight side by side with the people of the Veldt to protect the until recently peaceful village, which has become a new home for those whose homeland was taken away by the Mother World. On the eve of the battle, the warriors will have to face the truth that lies in their own past, and each of them will tell what they are really fighting for. The full power of the Realm descends on the rebellion, and in a difficult hour, unbreakable bonds are formed, new heroes are born and legends are born,” reads the official synopsis.
Rush Moon 2 comes less than five months after the first installment hit Netflix in December 2023. The six-hour director’s cut should be released in the summer.
