Official: Nothing Phone (1) will get Snapdragon 778G+

Well, the masks are off, the discussions are over! The first smartphone of the Nothing brand will definitely be built on the basis of the Snapdragon 778G + chipset. Writes about this edition InputMag with reference to the representatives of Nothing. Recall that this is an entry-level chipset in the mid-budget segment and an AnTuTu hit in the first quarter of this year. Technically, this is a 6nm solution with two quartets of Cortex-A78 and Cortex-A55 cores, seasoned with an Adreno 642L graphics engine and a Snapdragon X53 modem for 5G access. Early rumors linked to the Phone (1) Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 on 4nm architecture, but… Not this time. The choice of chip will directly affect the price category: Nothing is expected to break into the sub-$500 category. The official premiere is scheduled for July 12.
