The second novelty of the day on the fresh Apple M2 chip was the MacBook Pro 13″. This is the most compact version of the 14″ and 16″ solutions presented last fall. At the same time, it has an old design: wide frames, no notch, and a touch strip above the block the keyboard, which disappeared in older models, has not gone away.The set of connectors is similar to the MacBook Air: a pair of Thunderbolt and 3.5 mm, but without MagSafe.Regarding it, autonomy is increased to 20 hours due to a slightly thicker (15.6 mm) and a heavy (1.4 kg) case with an improved battery.
The MacBook Pro 13″ received an active cooling system and in the top configuration can be equipped with 24 GB of RAM and 2 TB of storage. The screen is a 13.3″ IPS panel with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels with a brightness of 500 nits. Sales start in July at a price of $1299 for the 8/256 GB version and $1499 for the 8/512 GB version. Two colors: gray and silver.
