An example of a 200-megapixel photo from the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra camera: was it worth it?

In the near future, a new stage of the crazy race of smartphone megapixels will start. The pioneer, as you know, will be the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra, the first in the world to offer a 200-megapixel main camera. Lenovo Mobile CEO Chen Jin decided to demonstrate its capabilities by posting the original picture of a bouquet of flowers. True, the resolution of the file, alas, is not 200 megapixels, but only 50 – the sensor supports 4-in-1 binning for daytime photos and 16-in-1 for night ones. However, the image weighs in at a solid 13.1 MB and is notable for the lack of sharpness at the edges of the frame. Evaluate detail, color reproduction and other aspects of the frame, and then share your opinion in the comments: do smartphones need cameras of such a high resolution. The release date for the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra has yet to be announced.
