Sony and Meizu could?! Xperia 1 on Flyme OS 9 appeared on video

Perhaps many have already forgotten, but last fall, Sony and Meizu announced an unexpected collaboration, which should result in the implementation of the Flyme user experience on Xperia smartphones (an attempt to spur weak sales ?). At that time, the companies did not name the terms and go into details of the project, pointing rather to the introduction of Flyme applications on top of the almost original Android with Sony add-ons. All the more surprising was the video published today by WhyLab. It showcases the Sony Xperia 1 (2019) running FlymeOS 9.2.5.2A with Android 11 at the core.

Two options arise: either we have the result of the work of an enthusiast who installed custom firmware, or Sony and Meizu went further, jointly developing a unique FlymeOS assembly for Xperia smartphones targeted at the Chinese market. The company has not yet made any announcements.
