At the end of May, the main service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs resumed the work of the official website, including the online service “Calculator of the estimated cost of registering a vehicle.” And now the department reminded about the availability of the service against the background of active import of cars without customs clearance from Europe and a sharp increase in demand for electric vehicles due to the fuel crisis.

Using this calculator, car owners can online (without having to visit the service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs) calculate the amount of the fee for registering a vehicle. The tool allows you to find out not only how much the registration service of the service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs will cost for any type of vehicle, but also what taxes and fees and in what amount are paid in each specific case.

The day before, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal announced the introduction of a facilitated procedure for quick customs clearance of cars – the corresponding service should appear in Action before the end of this month. But the duty-free regime for the import of cars can be canceled on May 30 – the Cabinet of Ministers submitted to the Verkhovna Rada bill No. 7418 , which proposes to return duties on the import of cars into Ukraine for their own use.
