Warner Bros. has published the first trailer for the upcoming superhero film “Black Adam” / Black Adam, based on the comic book of the same name by DC Comics.

The comic book follows the origins of DC Universe antihero Theta Adam, played by famous actor and wrestler Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. According to the plot of the picture, the villain will return from exile and try to take revenge on his mentor. In the solo album, Black Adam will not face Shazam, who is his main rival – the next films in the cycle will be dedicated to their confrontation .

In addition to The Rock, the film also stars Pierce Brosnan (Doctor Fate), Aldis Hodge (Hawkman), Noah Centineo (Atom Breaker), Quintes Swindell (Cyclone).

Filming for Black Adam began in April 2021 and lasted just over three months. The comic book director is Jaume Colet-Serra (House of Wax, The Passenger and Jungle Cruise).

The film will be released worldwide on October 21, 2022.
