This week, the crypto community was stirred up by an anonymous person with the nickname Adyingnobody on Twitter . He stated that thanks to the exploit of the Telegram platform, he managed to obtain a large amount of data (137 GB) about the offenses of famous people and leading projects in the crypto industry.
Adyingnobody intends to expose the participants in the crypto space and reveal their dark deeds. According to him, the alleged evidence of illegal activity includes a wide range of crimes, ranging from fraud and fraud to murder, theft and sexual assault. The release of this data could cause “a split in the entire cryptocurrency community.”
These publications attracted the attention of a large number of people. In just one day, Adyingnobody’s Twitter followers reached nearly 40k. And the Ethereum wallet address listed on Adyingnobody’s profile has already received more than 40 transactions. These are probably transfers from individuals who want to look at the information that is planned to be disclosed.
?One warning regarding @adyingnobody ?
Not saying it is all bullshit, I don’t think so, but:
If there are any publicly available downloads – wait a bit first and let others inspect it.
It is not difficult to equip files with keyloggers or other malware/spyware.
stay safe!

However, some members of the crypto community are reminded of the need to be careful when dealing with an alleged whistleblower. After all, he himself can be a scammer. But even if Adyingnobody’s allegations are not unfounded, the community should be wary of any files coming from anonymous accounts.
Why the @adyingnobody thread is just a publicity stunt. Check for yourself, there simply haven’t been any exploits like he described. Its just a guy trying to get attention/scare some shady CT peeps.https://t.co/SOBDqDiQU8

In addition, user Zugged claims that Telegram did not have the vulnerabilities that Adyingnobody claims. Therefore, he calls the act of an anonymous whistleblower “a publicity stunt.”
An anonymous account made a baseless claim that they were able to access the contents of private group chats on Telegram. No such vulnerability has ever been found. This is likely a hoax with the intent to get users to download malware.

The Telegram administration has officially responded to the claims, stating that Adyingnobody’s actions may be an attempt to “force users to download malware.”
