Samsung and Google shook up the stagnant smartwatch market last summer with the introduction of the Galaxy Watch 4 series powered by Wear OS. Building on the success should be the Galaxy Watch 5, which is expected in August and, according to Ice Universe, will not offer an improved design. Moreover, the informant claims that they will “become uglier”, being almost the “worst among other brands” in terms of appearance. In support of his words, he offered a Galaxy Watch 5 Pro scheme with very wide frames that cannot be compared with the Apple Watch 7 and possibly even the Galaxy Watch 4.

On the other hand, rumors have long pointed to a serious increase in battery capacity, and hence autonomy. Another good news for fans will be information from the FCC regulator database, where three Galaxy Watch 5 models were registered at once: SM-R900 (40 mm), SM-R910 (44 mm) and SM-R920 (Watch 5 Pro). From there it became known that the whole trio received support for 10W charging – twice as much as in the Galaxy Watch 4 series. This means that the owners do not have to wait about 2 hours to replenish the battery.
