The cult favorite Lollipop Chainsaw is back. This was stated by one of the former publishers of the game. Yoshimi Yasuda was previously the CEO of Kadokawa Games, which published Lollipop Chainsaw and Killer is Dead in Japan. He also served as an executive producer on both projects.
It was revealed last month that Yasuda would leave Kadokawa Games and form a new company called Dragami Games, and it looks like Lollipop Chainsaw will be one of the new company’s first games. However, it has not yet been specified whether this game will be a remaster, remake or sequel to the original Lollipop Chainsaw.
Lollipop Chainsaw was released in 2012 for Xbox 360 and PS3. She enjoyed high popularity due to her incredible storyline and sexual action. The game follows Juliet Starling, a cheerleader who must save her school from a zombie invasion.
The game has not had subsequent re-releases or a PC version, and is not backwards compatible on Xbox, not on the list of PS3 games available for streaming on PS Plus. Thus, fans do not have the opportunity to play it on more recent versions of game consoles.
