We would like to tell you about the initiative of the Aviation of Galicia Foundation. The founder of the fund is a brand of the same name that sews clothes and collaborates with Ukrainian pilots.
The goal of the Buy Me a Fighter initiative is to raise funds for the needs of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, namely for a fighter aircraft, which is critically lacking to protect the sky and cover ground operations.
The foundation raises funds to purchase “used” aircraft abroad from people who do not use them for their intended purpose. Variants of the SU-25, SU-27, MiG-29, MiG-29A are being considered, which can perform a wide range of combat missions.

Now 8 million hryvnias and 30 thousand dollars have already been collected for the plane. Also, to close the issues of logistics and after-sales service, the fund entered into agreements with the Air Force of Ukraine and the concern Ukroboronprom. The approximate amount that still needs to be raised is $3 million.
It is planned to use aviation primarily in hot spots where active hostilities are currently underway – Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
