Today, a new smartphone under the HTC brand was officially presented. It is still difficult to say whether the Taiwanese are directly involved in its production, or whether this is another project under licensing. In favor of the first option is the fact that the device is available in Britain, where small companies have not yet appeared with HTC, as well as the connection to the Vive – the rest of the legendary company’s business related to virtual reality technology. The smartphone itself is budget, while offering a number of rare advantages for this class. In particular, there is IP67 water resistance, as well as wireless and reverse wireless charging. The performance is based on a Snapdragon 695 with 5G access, and the camera is equipped with a 64-megapixel main lens (there is little information on the filling of the triple module).
The HTC Desire 22 Pro is available for pre-order for £400 (8GB/128GB variant), bundled with Vive Flow glasses, case and headphones for £763. At first, only the black version will be available, but the manufacturer provides other options. Sales will start on August 1st.
