Classic: Increased demand for iPhone 14 expected in China

According to market reports ( 1 , 2 ), the popularity of the iPhone among Chinese people is huge. And although the release of the iPhone 14 family is still more than two months away, demand for them already now exceeds that of the iPhone 13, said authoritative analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. In a new report, he argues that Chinese retailers and distributors are being forced to pay a hefty prepayment deposit (in some cases twice as high as it was a year ago with the iPhone 13) to serve market demand, indicating increased customer interest in the iPhone 14. According to iPhone 14 shipments are forecast to be around 90-100 million units over the last few months of 2022 from the date of presentation.
