After several years of development, Ubisoft has finally shared details about the game Skull and Bones, showed trailers and revealed the release date. The game was announced back in 2017.
Skull and Bones is set in the Indian Ocean during the so-called “golden age of piracy”. Players start on an island and must work to build their reputation to become the most feared pirate on the high seas. Various activities will be available to players, including looting, hunting other pirates, and treasure hunting to increase their notoriety. The higher the infamy, the higher the rewards they can receive through contracts. It looks like all of these activities can be done solo, but the developers of Skull and Bones emphasized that this is a social game that allows players to team up to fight dangerous enemies.
Skull and Bones will release on November 8, 2022 on Xbox Series S/X, PlayStation 5, PC, Stadia and Luna.
