The compact ASUS Zenfone 9, which became the sudden hero of last week thanks to a leaked video , will be one of the few truly compact smartphones in 2022, and even a flagship. Deciding not to delay the promo campaign, ASUS announced the date of the presentation of new items: it will take place in a couple of weeks, on the evening of July 28th. The official poster, depicting a smartphone with a camera, gamepad, stabilizer and power bank, hints at the versatility of the Zenfone 9, and the slogan “Compact size. Big features” is intended to emphasize this. Recall that we already know about the underlying Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 top-end chipset, a water-resistant case (IP68), and a capacious 4300 mAh battery with a tiny 5.9 “case by today’s standards.
