Despite the fact that sanctions do not provide for any ban on the supply of smartphones to Russia, some Chinese brands decided to interrupt their business in the spring, fearing secondary sanctions. Among them was Huawei, which slammed the door back in early April. At the same time, the remaining companies managed to make excellent money, remaining practically without competitors. Apparently, for Huawei, the desire to return turned out to be stronger than the fear of sanctions, which is why it was decided to resume the supply of smartphones and other gadgets to Russia. As a source close to the company told Izvestia, “new deliveries are really coming,” and the company’s website has been actively filled with products over the past couple of weeks. At the same time, official statements from Huawei have not yet been received.
