In just three weeks, 2018’s next acclaimed former PlayStation exclusive, Spider-Man: Remastered, will be released on PC. The port was announced among many other games at the June State of Play , and now Sony has shared the details of the release – a trailer has appeared, from which you can find out the key features of the PC version, several screenshots, system requirements and pre-order details from Steam and EGS.
Marvel’s Spider-Man is Sony’s first PC port to feature ray-traced reflections and a new quality setting not even on the PlayStation 5 version (you’ll need the right hardware, of course). Other notable improvements include improved texture filtering, LoD and SSAO. In the trailer, Sony also noted support for technologies such as NVIDIA DLSS and DLAA. Unfortunately, AMD FSR 2.0 is not mentioned in the trailer, but last month God of War received support for upscaling technology, so there is hope that it will arrive in one of the future patches. Also, Marvel’s Spider-Man on PC will support various resolutions and screen formats (up to ultra-wide 21:9 and panoramic 32:9)
