With the assistance of the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Digital Transformation, Ukrainian doctors will receive 10,000 new laptops. The equipment was purchased by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance, Industrial and Digital Sovereignty at the request of the Ukrainian authorities, the Ministry of Health reports .
Modern functional devices are already on their way and will soon help doctors in their daily work. Laptops are distributed to municipal health care institutions in all regions, in proportion to the necessary needs, as well as additionally to national-level institutions and departmental institutions coordinated by the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
“Even before the start of the war, we formed an important goal for ourselves – to provide hospitals with access to all the latest technologies and the ability to use them with confidence. Make it so that each doctor has his own personal computer, high-speed Internet and even more opportunities to provide quality and affordable medical services. It is also about depaperization of the medical sphere and new digital tools. As a help along the way, 10,000 laptops from the French government,” said Deputy Minister of Health for Digital Development Maria Karcevic.
Providing medical institutions with high-quality Internet and a computer is an important part of the plan for the digitalization of the medical sector, the Ministry of Digital Development emphasizes. Modern technology, combined with appropriate software, will make the daily work of doctors more efficient, as well as facilitate online interaction with patients. It is expected that this will significantly save clients’ time to receive medical services and make them more accessible to citizens.
