An image has surfaced on Weibo that sources are calling a “leaked teaser for the Vivo X Shot,” the long-awaited successor to the camera phone from 2014. The picture shows the main features of the device: the new Vivo V2 image processing chip, 10x periscope zoom, Zeiss T * filter and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. It sounds very promising, especially considering what a breakthrough in mobile photography was the first Vivo Xshot ( review ).

However, this image must be taken with great skepticism. Firstly, this is exactly what the “leaked teaser” is – Vivo itself did not publish it anywhere. Secondly, there is reason to consider it a fake. And not only because there are a bit too many details for the first teaser, but also because of design flaws. For example, the word Shot for some reason is written smaller than “vivo X”, although on the teasers for Vivo X Note and Vivo X Fold, the words Note and Fold were written in the same font size. Therefore, we will continue to wait for new Vivo camera phones, but do not hope too much for the return of the X Shot in the near future.
