Uber said that Ukrainians most often forget in a taxi

Today, Uber presented the annual rating of forgotten things, showing what things Ukrainian users forget most often in a taxi. So which countries and cities in Europe, the Middle East and Africa are the most forgotten things, the days and hours during which people are most forgetful, and, of course, the most unusual items left in cars ordered through Uber.

Among the things that Ukrainians most often forget are:

  • Telephone

With thousands of items forgotten in cars around the world every day, Uber allows users to report the loss directly in the app, 24/7. Through the application, the passenger contacts the driver who drove him and agrees on the transfer of the found item. In addition, you can leave a voice message describing the lost item and the driver will contact you.

The best way to return a forgotten item is to call the driver. Here’s what to do:

  • Click “Your Trips” and select the trip you left something on
  • Scroll down and click “Retrieve Lost Items”
  • Click “Contact Driver for Lost Items”
  • Scroll down and enter your contact phone number. Click the Submit button.

If you forgot your phone, enter a friend’s phone number (you can do this by logging into your account on a computer or using a friend’s phone). Uber will call the number provided and connect you directly with your driver. If your driver answers and confirms that he has found your item, agree on a convenient time and place for both of you to meet. If your driver does not answer, please leave a detailed voice message describing the item and a convenient way to contact you.
