The Russian occupiers continue to cook at Azovstal, but the number of attacks may increase.
The Russian army continues to carry out artillery and air strikes on Mariupol in the Donetsk region. The main efforts are focused on blocking Ukrainian troops in the area of the Azovstal plant.
This was reported in the morning summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on May 13.
To establish full control over the city, as well as to suppress the resistance of the Ukrainian military, the invaders of the aggressor country use strategic aviation. However, the General Staff notes that enemy attacks will only intensify.
“In view of the measures to evacuate local residents (from Azovstal – Ed.), we should expect an increase in fire impact in the near future,” the report says.
