The leader of the Boombox group, Andriy Khlyvnyuk, since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, has joined the ranks of the terrorist defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
At first, the artist defended Kiev from the invaders, and now he went to fight in the east of Ukraine, where fierce battles are now taking place.
The fact that the artist left to defend the east from Russian invaders was told by journalist Yuri Koshmarchenko. He remembered their last meeting when he found out Khlyvniuk’s plans.
“I met Andrei Khlyvnyuk in Kyiv, we stood and talked (we know each other), he complained without malice that he could not buy non-alcoholic beer in a nearby store. the mission in this war is to immediately find non-alcoholic beer for Andrey. I ran around the shops around, found it, bought it, I write to him to come out and pick it up. And he is so modest: “Thank you, we’ll drink when I return from the east,” the journalist wrote.
It should be noted that since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Khlyvnyuk has been serving in the ranks of the terrorist defense. In March, the column in which the musician was moving came under mortar fire , as a result of which Khlyvnyuk received a face injury. Immediately after the wound healed, Khlyvnyuk returned to the service.
