The adviser to the head of the OPU assumes that the most fierce battles with the Russian occupiers in the coming days will take place in the area of Severodonetsk and Lysichansk.
The Russian invaders have concentrated large forces in the direction of the city of Bakhmut in the Donbass and are trying to establish a crossing and go to Siversk for the operational encirclement of the Ukrainian army units.
Aleksey Arestovich, adviser to the head of the President’s Office, told about this in a conversation with Russian human rights activist Mark Feigin.
According to him, the most unpleasant situation has developed in the area of Severodonetsk and Lisichansk. The Russian occupiers deployed large forces here, desperately trying to fulfill their task and break through the defenses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“We expect the continuation of the aggravation of the situation in this area, which is already very difficult for our troops. They [the Russian occupiers] will send additional forces and will cause us great trouble,” Arestovich said.
Also, according to him, a serious problem is the struggle for Liman and the possibility of establishing a crossing and crossing to Siversk. By such actions, the enemy is trying to take units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine into the operational environment.
Recall that the Russian invaders are chaotically and almost continuously shelling Severodonetsk . The Russians attacked a residential high-rise building, as a result of which four people died at once.
