Russian propagandists are constantly coming up with new fakes to demoralize Ukrainians and discredit the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Experts from the Center for Counteracting Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine have collected a selection of fakes, manipulations and disinformation stuffing that the enemy produced during May 24.
This is stated in the message of the Center for Combating Disinformation.
List of fakes, misinformation and manipulations:
- Medvedev, deputy chairman of the Russian Federation’s National Security Committee, said: “Ukraine does not want to negotiate at all. The Russian draft peace treaty has long been forgotten there. It seems that it did not exist. It is only counting on the flow of weapons and money from Western countries.” Warning: This is misinformation!
- Russian media reported that “the European Parliament decided to temporarily abolish quotas and duties on the import of Ukrainian products to the EU countries. The purpose of these measures is to support the Ukrainian economy in the conditions of the war with the Russian Federation, but in reality everything is different: weapons are exchanged for oil.” Warning: This is manipulation!
- “The Russian Federation will continue the “special operation” until the tasks are completed, despite the sanctions and Western assistance to Ukraine, and the military of the Russian Federation, unlike the Armed Forces of Ukraine, does not strike at civilian infrastructure,” the Russian media continue to spread this thesis, referring to Shoigu. Warning: This is misinformation!
Recall that Russian propaganda has already begun to associate the occurrence of monkeypox with non-existent Ukrainian “biological laboratories”. Rospropagandists claim that the United States allegedly developed viruses in Ukrainian biolaboratories, among which was monkeypox.
