On the last day of April, 19 times the Russians opened fire on residential areas of cities and villages in the Lugansk region. Another 12 houses were fired upon by the invaders, Zolote-3 was destroyed by 70%, the enemy was storming Orekhovo.
This was announced on May 1 by the head of the Lugansk OVA Serhiy Gaidai.
“Severodonetsk and Lisichansk withstood six massive artillery shellings, Rubizhne and Popasnyanshchina survived three each. As a result, another 12 houses became uninhabitable. Five of them are high-rise buildings in Severodonetsk, and two more – in Rubizhnoye. Two fires also occurred in this city private houses. The building of the village council, a school and an apartment building were destroyed in Kamyshevakh. The gas pipeline was broken in Lisichansk,” he said.
Gaidai stressed that currently it is known about one dead man who received injuries incompatible with life on the night of April 30 in Novodruzhesk.
The head of the region also informed about the current situation at the front. After the occupation of Novotoshkivsky , the Russians concentrated their efforts on the assault on Orekhovy . There are very intense shooting battles – street after street.
