The Russian Federation has been preparing for the mass deportation of Ukrainians to its territory since the beginning of 2022.
The Russians even compiled lists with the exact number of Ukrainian citizens who were planned to be forcibly taken out .
This was stated on May 3 on the air of the informational telethon by the Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for Human Rights Lyudmila Denisova.
“I have certain insider information that the Russian Federation has been preparing for the mass deportation of our citizens since the beginning of the year. And I have some information that in all regions, in almost all republics, they compiled lists of temporary relocation points, and it is clearly defined there, what region it is, the number of Ukrainians that will be taken out,” she said.
According to Denisova, currently Ukraine does not have confirmation that 1.1 million Ukrainians were taken out by the Russians , as they say in the Russian Federation.
“We use the figures provided by the Russian Federation, because, unfortunately, in Ukraine today there is no way to count our citizens – we do not have an official border in the part in which our citizens are forcibly deported. Yesterday I spoke with the Red Cross, the President The ICRC asked if they had such figures confirmed that exactly 1.1 million people were taken out – no,” the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights said.
Recall that on February 24, Russia attacked Ukraine , inflicting a series of missile and air strikes on our cities, including Kiev. A large-scale invasion has been going on for the 69th day (war of 8 years). The occupiers continue to destroy Ukrainian villages, towns and cities with cruise missiles and air bombs, killing the civilian population and causing devastating destruction to the infrastructure.
