Ukrainian refugees who entered the territory of Moldova on the basis of an identity document will be able to leave the country by presenting the same document. The conditions for simplified state border crossing can be applied only once.
Citizens of Ukraine who entered the territory of Moldova on the basis of an identity document, including those with the remaining validity period, will be able to leave the country by presenting the same document. This decision was made at a meeting on May 4 by the National Commission for Emergency Situations of Moldova.

The Commission on Emergency Situations has also adjusted the protection measures for children at risk and children separated from their parents. Persons responsible for receiving minors from Ukraine will evaluate each case on the basis of a document approved by order of the Minister of Labor and Social Protection.
Meanwhile, the German government has equated Ukrainians in matters of social protection with people who have a permanent residence permit in Germany, or those who have received political asylum in the country. To obtain such a permit, one does not have to wait many months for the application to be considered by the shelter; Ukrainians receive it automatically after several weeks of stay in Germany. Ukrainians are granted a residence permit for a period of one or two years, in case of an appropriate decision at the EU level, protection will be extended to 3 years.
