On May 6, Russian troops continue their offensive operations in the east of Ukraine, and their greatest activity was recorded in the Slobozhansky and Donetsk directions.
The Russian occupiers also launch rocket attacks on transport infrastructure facilities and residential areas of Ukrainian settlements.
This was reported in the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
They clarified that Russian troops do not stop offensive operations in the Eastern Operational Zone in order to establish full control over the territory of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, as well as to obtain a land corridor between these territories and the occupied Crimea.
The greatest activity of the invaders continues to be observed in the Slobozhansky and Donetsk directions.
Recall that the invaders intensified shelling of the Zaporozhye region : enemy troops hit civilian infrastructure.
