Against the backdrop of the war launched by Russia against Ukraine, they began to dismantle monuments associated with the Soviet regime and the aggressor state.
We decided to resort to decommunization in the Carpathian region. In particular, several busts were dismantled in the Delyatinsky Society.

The executive committee of the Delyatinsky village council decided to dismantle the monuments-busts and memorial signs on the territory of the community. In particular, it was decided to dismantle:
- bust of the Russian poet Alexander Pushkin on the territory of the Delyatinsky Lyceum No. 3.
- bust of the hero of the Soviet Union, Commissar Semyon Rudnev, in the village of Zarechye
- memorial plaque to Soviet soldiers in Delyatyn.
In addition, Rudneva Street was renamed Bandery in Zarechye. In the village of White Oslavy, Pobeda Street was renamed into Ukrainian Victory Street and March 8 Street into Heroes of Ukraine Street.
As reported, on Saturday, May 7, in Korosten, Zhytomyr region , they began to dismantle the monument to “Komsomol members”.
